-Don't judge a book by its cover.
-I am the author of my own life, unfortunately I am writing in pen.
-"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."-Dr. Seuss

I am from candles, more candles flicker and flames
From laundry baskets, moving boxes, and toddler games
Too many lamps and the “Dancing Bears”
I am from soothed up tables and rickety rocking chairs

I am from 200 pound wooden pumpkins
From broken flower pots, with dead flowers, ready for dumping
I am from frostbitten pumpkins, 10 scarecrows and twelve apple trees
From toy log cabins and fallen hives of bees

I am from manicured, lead filled yards
One with old broken, junked out cars
I am from Harley Davidson Classic motorcycles
From race cars and scooped up tricycles

I am from Elijah, bonehead younger brother,
And Margarett, my friend, my mother
I am from Roland, my hard working father
From Tyler, my brother, oh what a bother

I am from jompting, jingling Jesus Christ
And Oh No Fuffy and cheese-n-rice
I am from you idiot, you bonehead, my untufoo-foo
And from outta my face, before I beat you

I am from Swedish meatballs, cocktail weenies
And mac-n-cheese and Grandma Brown Beanies
And I am from grilled burgers, yum black-n-blue
Oh and dads steak, tough as a shoe

I am from memories in the wooden trunk
And in the garage, so packed full of junk
I am from the shoebox in the closet, way up stairs
And from my head, where only I care.
