Favorite Quote:
“It is a dull sensation, your heart breaking, like the sound of a pebble dropping on the sand. Not a shattering, not a tearing apart, there is nothing shrill or grandiose about the sensation. It is merely an internal realization that something treasured you never knew you had is leaving forever.”

For the ice within my soul covers up,
The never ending blizzard of battle;
The cause for my fragile heart to rattle.
Cold is to blame for bitter to corrupt.
It's no guest of mine, for it interrupts.
Bitter has no intention to tattle,
So call forth the sun to end the battle
To warm the bitter like tea in a cup.
Melt the ice I have come so accustomed to.
Bring the happiness I felt as a boy,
Like when I was six and got a new toy.
Embrace warmth as there's nothing left to do.
I start to smile; Under sadness is joy.
When I let the light in, my heart then grew.
