Biking as life

When I ride my bike I climb the hills of life
Through wind and rain and disappointments too
I push the pedals forward past the strife
Come ride with me and see my point of view

Go downhill, you will see it's fast and fun
Uphill is hard but there will be a top
Then you're done and stronger than begun
Keep going, this is not the time to stop

Do not focus on what has passed you by
Just stay the course and you will too succeed
It's hard work don't try to be a tough guy
You'll ride your bike as if it was your steed

The times you fell, the wounds that scratched your skin
Won't touch the many places you have been
