My lovely wolf sings the song of my heart
Each immortal note etched upon my soul
From my wolf I could never be apart
Without his presence I would not be whole
A warrior of the night, he patrols
Looking to the stars and moon for advice
Making sure to fulfill his only goals
So he doesn't have to pay the price
But not much longer will these woods be home
For he must answer the call of the land
Knowing that for days and days he will roam
He'll have answered nature's biggest demand
I never even got to say so long,
I wonder if he'll ever sing my song
Each immortal note etched upon my soul
From my wolf I could never be apart
Without his presence I would not be whole
A warrior of the night, he patrols
Looking to the stars and moon for advice
Making sure to fulfill his only goals
So he doesn't have to pay the price
But not much longer will these woods be home
For he must answer the call of the land
Knowing that for days and days he will roam
He'll have answered nature's biggest demand
I never even got to say so long,
I wonder if he'll ever sing my song
