"Only one who devotes himself to a cause with his whole strength and soul can be a true master. For this reason mastery demands all of a person." ~ Albert Einstein

We hurry the morning and rush the night
Never discerning darkness from the light
We climb our lives leaving friends down below
Not stopping or turning to say hello

We no longer notice the rising moon
Or fires of sunset in the afternoon
"There is no time to watch this and remain"
But we might never get that chance again

Maybe it is time we slow down our pace
And try more to observe every day's grace
Maybe for others we should learn to live
And deeply cherish what for us they give

This precious life will not last forever
Appreciate the time spent together
