Pursuits

Not all ideas are diamonds
As not all that glitters is gold
But both these will wither or else grow mold
You say diamonds are forever
And gold is not of the flesh
But even if you say not, wouldn't it be for the best?
But alas people die for them
By silly pursuits of wealth
Little do they know that the richest man is the one of good health

I think this poem is great! It's witty, has a great rhyme scheme, and actually has a worthwhile message. Love it!

I loved this poem. :) The only thing I would say is try to work on the last line. But besides that I really did enjoy this piece. Great job! :)
