Favorite Quote:
"Here's to waking up Thursday, and thinking it's Friday."
"It's Wednesday, dude."

"And we didn't think it was very cool, so... we tried to kill him."
"Dude, they're cops!"

"Great minds think alike."
"And fools seldom differ."

Okay, listen up, here's the deal
Know that my lies are always based
Off something that I know is real
An event I would hate to waste

But that doesn't mean all I say
Is nothing you could dare to trust
Just because I lie everyday
Should my lies be viewed with disgust?

All they are are stories told
Spun from truth (though some are not)
Should storytellers ever scold
Those who only twist truth a lot?

Just because I lie every day
Does not mean lies are all I say

Okay, it's probably not a sonnet. But it's the closest I can get to one! ^_^ This poem isn't about people lying, it's about being an author. I just wanted to clarify that before mothers came flying at me with cooking pans or something.

This is wonderful. For a poem based on lies it is increadibly true.    And beautifully expresive.
