Dear friend, the good times we've been through
Are something I hoped for and always knew
We're so very different, but all too alike
Whether it was laughing together or riding a bike
I've always looked up to and admired you so
You've taught me more than you'll ever know
The times I was with you were the very best
Like our piano days, and our day of yes
Whenever you were gone, I would feel so empty
Putting down the reciver, our words not plenty
Our sense of humor, something not everyone understands
Never stopped our fun or ruined our plans
We could do anything, go anywhere
From winter time till the warm summer air
Always talking about the future and past
About music and people, and trends that wont last
When it's the end of the day and everyone's gone home
It's just the two of us, we know where to roam
No one else I know comes over at night
And stays until the sky is turning bright
When I talk to you, everything else goes away
Whether it for a short time, ot the whole day
Of course our small quarrals and fights come along
But they can't and they wont ever last for too long
Though we may disagree we never want to say mad
I can't for I know I can't loose what we have
Through our flaws and our troubles, we're both still here
My need for you is something so clear
You truly are my very best friend
One that I love and will trust till the end
I'll be here as long as you want me too
Extending our good times forever, me and you

This piece is a bit out of the rulebook, but it's something I wrote about my best friend. Some things in this I'm not sure everyone will understand. And it's not expected to, some things are personal and between just us two. But I hope it'll be enjoyed anyway.
