School bells ring on the last day of school,
Laughter and excitement fill the streets,
As kids board the bus and sit in the back seats,
Everyone is ready to enjoy the pool.
Barbecues begin,
Relief from school puts students at peace,
They have finally been released,
And faces gleam with big grins.
Camps and freedom start the new summer fun,
The climate is scorching but has a light breeze,
Creatures and warm water flow in the seas,
No one wants the day to come when summer is done.
