Spring Nature

January 19, 2011

The leaves start coming,
Geese start running,
Birds start chirping,
Cats start lurking,
Cows start mooing,
Owls start cooing,
Nature is all around us,
It is here to stay,
I'll never let go of it,
Not even for a year or day,
It seems so peaceful,
Like nothing is going to harm its way,
Like the bright sun shining,
On that crystal, blue water bay,
It all changes when the seasons come and go,
But it will be back,
Just like the river can flow,
Nature is all around us,
It is here to stay,
I'll never let go of it,
Not for a year or day.

The author's comments:
What inspired me to write this piece was when I was outside in my back yard and was lying down in the grass with my eyes closed. I just stopped daydreaming and then started to use my five senses. I hope this poem will make you realize how nature is beautiful and that we should never let go of it, ever.
