I fly with eagles in the morning sun.
We scan the clouds with our fierce yellow eyes,
Then shriek straight down as if shot from a gun.
I soar with them across the open skies.
I swim with sharks down in the crystal seas.
The afternoon glitters down on our backs.
Our razor fins flash by like magic keys,
The locks of fear turn when we come from black.
I sing with wolves under the gleaming moon.
We sprint through quiv’ring trees on rustic paths
And crash through snow as if it’s only June.
Then huddle close away from cold, in Math?
The daydream ends at sharp ringing bells
But go again or so the jaguar tells.
