A Moth

Like a stick of shriveled cinnamon
Offset by creamy white
I think of you and cry
Lost in the shadows of paint
Until the fluttering grows faint.

Like rain-splattered leather shoes
Slid on veiny feet
My heart goes out to you
Caged by carpet and shoelaces
Even as cool glass separates us.

This touched me. I love the imagery here. I was wondering, would you comment on my story?
