The most precious treasure held in my heart
Is that which stirs my tears and pains my mind
The most exquisite dream ever to start
Leaves me searching in daylight; with everything to find
The yearning of my every stray thought
Is the twinkle of a foreboding blade
The moments of doubtless hope we have wrought
Have left my soul broken and frayed
The laughter we rejoice in together
Has made this fiery will humble and meek
The closeness and warmth we'll share for forever
Are the droplets born in my heart and dead on my cheek
As I stand by your side in our painful love
It will always be worth it, to float away with you.
Up and Above.
