I smile and I laugh
I act like I'm fine
But in truth I know
I'm dying inside
I want to go home
And lock my door
I don't want to deal with this world anymore
I want to sink into darkness
Fade into the night
I've fought this for so long
Fought with all my might
I'm tired of fighting
Tired of wasting my day
I'm running out of time
I've ran out of ways
I'm giving up
I'm letting go
It's time to go home
Time to end this show

I was inspired to write this at a time in my life when I felt that I didn't want to show what I was truly feeling inside, and so I put up a front of happiness. I smiled and acted like I was fine, when in truth, I was slowing being detroyed inside.
