Love's Resemblance To Beauty

Your beautiful love, showers down, and drowns me like the rain.
Your encasing hugs make me surrender, when I try to abstain.
I hear your whispers, and flowing sounds, like the wind through the trees.
Those three words stop me, keep me still, like the cold makes me freeze.

You keep me intact, and hold me together, with a needle and a thread.
You define beauty and even divine through every word you've said.
You struck my heart with your arrows of love that cupid placed in your hand.
As my knight, and I your princess, we drift to our own land.

The wings you give me help me soar, and lift me off the ground.
Our love and compassion are the echo's that bounce with every sound.
Your love, I breathe, you are my air, that keeps my heart in beat.
Your love is the fire, warming my heart, that can surround me in it's heat.

A kiss you give me, is soft as silk, and gentle as a breeze.
I wish to kiss you today and tomorrow, and I pray to God, "Please."
We have so many words, lots of things to say, it's like a never-ending path.
We were meant to be, can't you figure that out? C'mon now, do the math.

The ocean waves rise up on shore, and wash away the sand.
You washed away all my sorrow, just by taking my hand.
Like the moon, you light up my nights, and beautify each star.
My heart can promise to treasure you always, and I'll love you wherever we are.

You are the meaning to each song I hear, and you help me sing along.
You can sing me the words that are in my heart, and you show me right from wrong.
My confidence can sometimes drop, but you take and lift it high.
You are my life, my dream come true, the beauty in the sky.

You came to me, like a star, shooting through my sky at night.
The love you paint into my world, rids the dull and colors the white.
In my words and in my thoughts, you are the feelings that I portray.
Your love is different. It's like the sun, and can distinguish night and day.
