my flesh is exposed
the blood seeping through
still a simple lie
will satisfy you
my cry for help is muted
by my fear of letting go
so you choose not to listen
though deep down you know
what will it take
for someone to see
im slowly dying
the silence is killing me
maybe when im gone
and no longer in sight
youll spread your white wings
and finally take flight
youll set out to do
what you should have done before
remembering me.
