Helplessly we listen,
hungry for knowledge,
inadequate ideas,
blank tablets.
So from shock to shock we live
a hollow, pale affirmative.
Desperately we search,
yearning for identity,
lacking purpose,
unfortunate vagrants.
So from shock to shock we live
a hollow, pale affirmative.
Dejectedly we follow,
exhausted from the struggle,
merely wanting peace,
distressed souls.
So from shock to shock we live
a hollow, pale affirmative.
Finally we find ourselves,
seemingly content,
but questions start to rise once more,
and here we go again.
So from shock to shock we live,
a hollow, pale affirmative.
