I’m better off MAG

By Anonymous

     a drumming beat
rolls through her head
seems screamed aloud
but yet unsaid
she marches on
to her new song
tries to move on
she marches on
“I’m better off
better without
I’m better off
without a doubt.
It is a fact
no looking back
for what I lack
(maintain the act)”
a constant beat
tears through her head
she tries to scream
but nothing’s said
she marches on
her path is long
tears far from gone
she marches on.
“I’m better off
better without
I’m better off
without a doubt
no looking back
for what you lack
I’ll never crack
(maintain the act).”

I enjoy this poem because the quote “I’m better off better without, I’m better off without a doubt.” This can relate to my life because at times I feel like that if someone don’t have what they want then maybe they don’t have it for a reason. Objects/Material that is wanted is not always needed,so therefore you should get the items that's needed the most and not the items that you want.

This is amazing! I totally relate, in fact I've written something similar if you'd like to check it out

I do too! I love it!

I dont know if you meant to pick song lyrics when you submitted this, but indeed, it's not a sonnet. It IS really fantasic though. I would LOVE to hear it as a song, or just simply, a poem :) Keep creating and writing!!! :D

This is a really nice poem. I love the rhythm and repitition as well. Only thing is...this isn't a sonnet my dear. I would rather suggest submitting this into the song lyrics category. :)
