Behind the curtains
The wind whispers by,
Blows my hair into my eyes.
The sun warms my back,
And casts a glow upon the dark black.
The place behind the eyes,
It doesn’t seem to be what meets the eye.
All is hidden,
Some dark visions forbidden.
Out of mind,
Out of sight…
At least that’s what I tell myself at night.
