Broken Record

He's living life in repetition

Taking everbody under submission

A mundane everyday, his only ambition

His future is the definition of premonition

And he walks into the classroom,

Coming in with a sneering smile

His taunts are predictable as the weather

Coming again and again like a broken record

His hunger for satisfaction is like a wildfire

He hurts others

And says it makes him feel something, he's a liar

I watch and write as he sings with his unoriginal choir

He's a string puppet of society's worst

He's so cruel, he must have been cursed

Dancing in a deadly cycle that cannot be reversed

And all his taunts aren't thoughts, they're rehearsed

And he walks into the classroom,

Coming in with a sneering smile

His taunts are predictable as the weather

Coming again and again like a broken record

I'm invisible in his life scene

And I watch as he begins his daily, mindless scheme

And I can only hope he'll wake up and have a dream

So as to break his twisted routine

The same emptiness he tried to plant in me

Before I stood up and told him I sang my own song, and I was not weak

Thank you! I'm a newbie, so this is literally the first comment I've gotten. Definitely glad that it was a good one. I'll check out some of your work, too!
