I've been there; drugs, suicide, self harm,
I know what it's like to cut your arm,
Spend all night crying in bed,
Getting up wishing to be dead,
Whole body feeling like lead.
I don't say this to get your pity,
See I'm just not that petty.
I say this so you know,
There's people out there when you feel low,
There's never a reason to let yourself go.
Your life is worth something, did you know that?
In case nobody else told you, your life special.
You are not a doormat,
Don't treat yourself like that.
