A special gift from heaven above
Given by God for me to love
From the moment I saw your beautiful face
I knew the world would be a better place
Memories of you I hold so dear
With God by our side we have nothing to fear
Sometimes I think as times pass by
Of the mistakes I've made and I wonder why
But I know everything is a part of God's plan
And together we'll do the best that we can
With faith, hope, and love in all that we do
Your strength and your beauty will always shine through

This piece was written for my mom, she came to me and asked me to write something for her so she could give it to my older sister. Once me and my mom got together she told me stories of what her and my sister had been through so it came easy to me to write this because I felt as if I had experienced it.
