Just when the caterpillar thought her world was over, she became a butterfly.

Moonlight streaming through your windowpane
To illuminate your every tear stain
For behind that smiles hides a lot of pain

Darling you and me are one of the same
And if you asked me
How the hell do I make it through
I'd laugh and say I haven't got a clue
I haven't got a clue

Moonlight streaming through your windowpane
To illuminate your every bloodstain
As it trickles down the drain
Darling you and be we'll be okay
'Cause tomorrow's a new day

Yeah the sun will start to shine
Darling you and me, we'll be fine

Sunlight streaming through your windowpane to show
You're worth so much more than you'll ever know
Darling you and me we'll be alright

This was a song I wrote for a close friend of mine who has gone through a lot of struggles in her young life.

Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me. It is rather a sad piece, but I wanted to show that there's always hope.

I love the last verse! It is so uplifting, yet so sad. This poem flows so beautifully. Great writing:)) Keep up the good work!
