I know this story like the back of my hand,
And that's one thing you can't reprimand.
Jesus died for you,
And He died for me too.
He died for your sins,
And He died for my sins.
You laugh and say you don't believe,
I laugh because I know what you need.
What you need is a meeting,
A meeting with the man upstairs.
He loves us all,
And you don't even care.
You disrespect Him and His son,
And it all makes me sick.
Jesus died for you,
And you're being a prick?
What gives you the right?
Oh yeah free will,
Well guess what,
The big man made that too!
So stop babbling when you don't even know,
About that book that was written long ago.
So it's a bit outdated,
Yeah we know.
But it speaks the truth,
And the truth you should know.
But you don't know the truth,
Because you can't see it.
Jesus is the truth,
And in Him you don't believe.
