Open Your Eyes

If you saw me again,
Would you begin to remember?
Everything we did,
Back in December.
I'll remind you once,
We locked eyes in October.
But you stole my breath,
And tossed me to the weather.
And if you could have,
A single wish.
Would you immediately pray,
We never shared a kiss?
We never shared a kiss...
Now open your eyes,
Did it come true?
Am I no longer a memory to you?
You swore to me that you would never forget,
And that I would never be your regret.
You told me I could remain a friend,
Despite the fact we no longer talk.
Why do you try so hard to pretend?
You know you know me when you choose to walk.
So what is it that keeps you so far from near?
Don't dispel my words I know you hear.
I'll send you a song and I hope you will listen,
It reminds me you're what I'm missing.
Now open your eyes,
Did it come true?
Am I no longer a memory to you?
You swore to me that you would never forget,
And that I would never be your regret.
If we're not gonna be the same,
I guess you would be fine if I took all the blame?
I longed for a final kiss,
But you turned me down and said it would be amiss.
I was sleeping in my bed,
Nightmares shaking my body.
I was trapped inside my head.
How could you leave?
And you brush by me like I'm a stranger to you.
To sum it all up in a sentence,
You never cared about us.
I shouldn't have shared my trust.
Now open your eyes,
Did it come true?
Am I no longer a memory to you?
You swore to me that you would never forget,
And that I would never be your regret.
If we're not gonna be the same,
I guess you would be fine if I took all the blame?
I longed for a final kiss,
But you turned me down and said it would be amiss...

It was? Well, thank you. I'd explain the story, but it would take far too long to aprise. I apologize that it doused you with tears. I will! I'm constantly writing new songs! Again, thank you!
