What We Once Had

(Verse One)
I feel like our love for each other is ending
Sort of like a snowman when he meets the sun
Our relationship use to be so strong
But now it's all barely hanging by a thread
I wonder if it will be sewn back together
Or if it will fall off and not be seen ever again?

(Chorus)
I want to travel back in time
To when everything was perfect between us
Back when we would seal every night
With a perfect hug and a kiss
Back when we laughed about every little thing
And didn't worry about what anybody else would think
I secretly miss that as everyday passes by
I just want to go back to what we once had

(Verse Two)
Sitting here alone without you
It's come closer and closer to the end
I manage to grab ahold of the edge of the cliff
But I may not be able to hold on forever
Our love is vanishing more and more
Is it time to just let you go?

(Chorus)
I want to travel back in time
To when everything was perfect between us
Back when we would seal every night
With a perfect hug and a kiss
Back when we laughed about every little thing
And didn't worry about what anybody else would think
I secretly miss that as everyday passes by
I just want to go back to what we once had

(Bridge)
You turn around one day and notice
That all you gave has finally been washed away
In reality it all happened very quickly
But to me, it seemed to drag on and on
Maybe it's a sign that
You weren't really the one for me

(Chorus)
I want to travel back in time
To when everything was perfect between us
Back when we would seal every night
With a perfect hug and a kiss
Back when we laughed about every little thing
And didn't worry about what anybody else would think
I secretly miss that as everyday passes by
I just want to go back to what we once had
