Fallen From the Potter's wheel

an ungraceful fall from grace
led me to where i lay
filthy in this darkest place
just a worthless lump of clay

will i stand?
will i get up an walk?
or will i lay here in the dirt
covered in my sins
bruised and hurt
will i admit that i was wrong
to Him who heals?
because I've fallen
fallen from the potter's wheel

whispers from a blackened past
telling me, tying me where i lay
"you deserve where you've been cast.
you're nothing more than dirt and clay"

but will i stand?
will i get up and walk?
or will i lay here in the dirt
letting others tell me what I'm worth?
will i admit that i was wrong
to Him who heals?
because I've fallen
fallen from the potter's wheel

(oh father hear me. can you forgive me?)
(oh father heal me. can you save me?)

gentle hands reach for me
as a voice begins to say
mud is cleared so i can see
"you're not just a lump of clay"

"you will stand.
you will get up and walk.
get up child from the dirt.
to me you have so much worth.
your wrongs have been forgiven and you will heal
come with me,
back to the potters wheel"

so i will stand.
i will get up and walk.
my sinner's is buried deep
and now i see what i am worth
God forgave me and helped me heal...

oh yes i will stand
i will stand up and fight
for i believe there is a worth
in ever single person's birth
lord open their eyes and let then see
what you've done in me
because i was fallen
fallen from my potter's wheel
