It all started with a dream

A dream that

One day I might be something

I always thought it might be books

I always thought it might be my smarts

But the report card
-
It just wasn’t right

It said that I wasn’t bright

So, I tried to fight and fight

Until one special night

When I picked up the mic

That when I realized

That music was my life

Then I picked up a pen

And I just started writing

Just sitting there writing and writing

Till the sunset

I realized then

It wasn’t too late

To chase and finish my dream

So I want to say thank you everybody

Who thought the kid that

With a story to tell
