Hey, Kathleen.
You took such a long walk this afternoon.
I couldn't find you,
Came back with leaves in my hair, came back with scratches on my face,

Hey, Kathleen.
Why'd you go?
Left with yourself,
Came back alone.
Came back with bites, came back so slow,

Hey, Kathleen.
You've got some secret,
You've got some nerve,
Won't even tell me why you're sore, won't even tell me why.

Hey, Kathleen.
I'm taking a walk,
Don't follow me, just follow you.
I won't come back,
I won't ever come back.

I wrote this merely for the name. I love the name Kathleen. I always pictured her to be a wanderer who didn't care to tell anyone anything, but expected to be loved.
