He Can't Know

By , Voorhees, NJ
it's tI'me to admit it,
i know I'm always wrong.
I'm good for nothing,
why am i even singing this song.
but when he looked me in the eyes,
i had to turn around because i knew i would cry.
and i couldn't do that,
because then I'd have to tell hI'm why.

and i cant tell hI'm that I'm worthless,
don't deserve this
life i have.
i cant ask hI'm whats the point, all i do disappoint?
i cant show hI'm all the scars, left in my heart.
they made their mark.
so ooh i got to go,
because he cant afford to know.

if i showed hI'm who i really am,
would he understand?
would he take me by the hand,
he wouldn't even be able to stand.
because there i go again,
getting my hopes up too high.
and there i go again,
thinking every hello doesn't end with a goodbye.

and i cant tell hI'm that I'm worthless,
don't deserve this
life i have.
i cant ask hI'm whats the point, all i do disappoint?
i cant show hI'm all the scars, left in my heart.
they made their mark.
so ooh i got to go,
because he cant afford to know.

he followed me when i was alone.
but he wouldn't have, if he had known.
that i take too much for granted,
that I've abandoned,
everyone in know,
and that just goes to show,
that i don't deserve hI'm.

because i cant tell hI'm that I'm worthless,
don't deserve this
life i have.
i cant ask hI'm whats the point, all i do disappoint?
i cant show hI'm all the scars, left in my heart.
they made their mark.
so ooh i got to go,
because he cant afford to know.

ooh he cant know the real me.
because ooh oh ooh, there's too much for the eye to see.
ooh oh ooh, so i got to go.
i got to go.
