A Love That's Let Go

By , Glen Mills, PA
So i’ve given up,
I’ve changed my mind
For the thousandth time, and
I’m done with crying all the time
Never give up on something that you love
What if you’re holding on, but the love is just letting go?

Where do you stand when there’s no hand left to hold,
And where do you fit in, when there’s no one who understands,
Please tell me please show me
I really need to know
Where do you go
With a love that’s let go?

They say it will come back, it will fly back,
But I keep sititng at my window holding onto to memories
But you see, they’re not, coming back to me,
They say what’s in your head is meant to be
But I feel it pulling away from me

Where do you stand when there’s no hand left to hold?
And where do you fit in, when there’s no one who understands
please tell me please show me
i really need to know
where do you go
with a love that’s let go?

and i can see it in your eyes, but you can’t see in mine
this story’s getting old
this path is being worn,
i’m tired of waiting and fighting and crying, now
i’m tired of don’t go, and sorry, and maybe
but now i’ve no where left to go
and i really just dont know
what do you do, with a love that’e let go?
