roads that never end

In the middle of a lonely day
once again and i just cant get my mind to think straight.
its left the world behind
and forgotten every time
I've tried to replace the things that kill me everyday

because these roads, they never end
and the trees, they twist and bend in
ways that shouldn't be seen by
eyes that pretend
I'm stuck in the clouds and i don't want to come down because its days like these that make me feel so obsolete

yeah that's right, i want to leave

I'm feeling so alone
and i don't know where to go
can you please tell me where to go
or what I'm supposed to know
i never had a home,
and its worth the risk to throw out
every word you said to me
i don't believe them anyways

i lost my mind again
and you know where it went
its gone so far away
and i don't know what to say
when you tell me how it is
like you know what its like
to leave these scars on my wrist
oh my god they're so persistent

but when the roads come to an end
and my eyes can comprehend what
you've put right in front of me
the fact that we're not meant to be.
it kills me deep down inside,
how I've been forced to hide
were you pretending this whole time?
did you want to see me cry?

I'm feeling so alone
and i don't know where to go
can you please tell me where to go
or what I'm supposed to know
i never had a home,
and its worth the risk to throw out
every word you said to me
i don't believe them anyways
