Favorite Quote:
Life isn't fair; a fair is a place where you can play game, eat corn dogs, and ride Ferris wheels.

Verse one:
Momma calls her daughter
Down for breakfast
But no one answers
So she goes up to see
What’s wrong
There she finds a note
That says:
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words kill me
And momma Cries

Chorus:
We can’t be silent anymore
Silence speaks louder
Than taunts, jeers, and insults
We can’t just walk by
And expect it to be okay
All it takes is one voice
To say
I am silent no more
For a life to be saved

Verse two:
Momma thinks about her baby girl
Her joyful laugh
Her wide, bright, smile
All of that is gone
Forever
Because sticks and stones didn’t break her bones
No, words killed her
And Momma wonders why

Chorus:
We can’t be silent anymore
Silence speaks louder
Than taunts, jeers, and insults
We can’t just walk by
And expect it to be okay
All it takes is one voice
To say
I am silent no more
For a life to be saved

Break:
And at her funeral
The silent bystanders light candles
They ask themselves why
They never said a word
To stop the agony
She was suffering
From simple words
Her Momma weeps
As she hears what killed her baby
They hold her hands
Vowing to be silent no more
But for her daughter
It’s too late
And Momma cries

Modified Chorus:
We won’t be silent anymore
Our words will be heard
And overpower taunts, jeers, and insults
We will be silent no more
All it takes is us
Together we will save a life

Coda:
Momma holds the note
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words kill me
She says goodbye
And vows
To be silent no more
