Honeysuckle scents
Little white-picket fence
A perfect, plastered home
For a girl I used to know
Disgust and ugly stares
A couple troubles here and there
I would have been more glad
If I knew what came after that
Potential never reached
Learned how to take defeat
A few more puffy eyes
And soon I'll slowly die
Grief was so severe
All I had left was to fear
A few more hours more
And I'll be out that door
My name has no worth
Sick of hearing all these words
The person I am now
Is no longer safe and sound
Wasted many years
Wish I still had you here
I cannot lead, but I can follow
I hope I'll see you tomorrow
