Favorite Quote:
A pen is a sword that has a shield of paper and an armor of words

Verse One:
Sometimes
My heart can break
As my fingers
Trail along the rain
And sometimes
My voice will shake
From the cold memories of pain

And what can I do
When the past is in stone
What can I hold
As I cry here alone

Chorus:
I stand
And I watch my life unfold
And my eyes are forced open
As I witness it crumble
And cry

I crouch
As the tears pour
Along with fate's dark rain
Inflicting the world with pain
The dark rain...

Second verse:
Sometimes
I will shatter
While my teardrops
Are my broken glass shards
Sometimes
Events blur together
Colors through the sky

And what can I clutch
As my iron anchor
What shall hold me
As my glass heart shatters

Chorus:
I stand
And I watch my life unfold
And my eyes are forced open
As I witness it crumble
And cry

I crouch
As the tears pour
Along with fate's dark rain
Inflicting the world with pain
The dark rain...

Third verse (different tune):
So now I run into the streets
Dance in the rain
Who will I meet
Let my tears fall
Along with the rain
As I clutch an umbrella
And shield from the rain

Last verse:
And now I stand
And I watch my life unfold
And my eyes are forced open
As I witness it rise once more
And smile

I laugh
As the tears pour
Along with fate's fresh rain
Giving the world
New life

The author's comments:
I was inspired as I lay weeping as I realized: I couldn't answer to full contentment who I was. Who was I? I was someone who was losing grip on my true self. I have began rising once more, and may this bring hope to those who are losing faith in themselves.
