Now Gone

(Verse 1)
What happened between us?
Did I say something wrong?
I had just bought my prom dress.
Without you I don’t know where I belong.

How could you do this to me?
You promised to never leave.
I thought we would always be,
together. That’s what I wanted to believe.

(Chorus 1)
Now you you are gone,
and I am still here.
How will I go on?
I hate what I overhear.

(Verse 2)
Every time I look at pictures and see your face,
I always remember when we,
talked about our imaginary place,
to live by the caribbean sea.

They where not there,
How could they be so cruel?
Why is life so unfair?
Why at the end of high school?

(Chorus 1)
Now you you are gone,
and I am still here.
How will I go on?
I hate what I overhear.

(Verse 3)
You were the only guy,
who made me laugh and,
who made time go by.
Only you understand.

You had a big heart.
You had a great smile.
My heart is now torn apart.
Smiling for me is an old style.

You didn’t want anyone to know,
your secret and you trusted me enough,
to keep it. The hard part was to let you go.
I know your life was very tough.

(Chorus 1)
Now you you are gone,
and I am still here.
How will I go on?
I hate what I overhear.

(Verse 4)
I saw the signs coming.
I felt so little knowing I could not help you.
You were now becoming,
so frail and you withdrew.

I loved you so much,
I tried so hard to keep you alive as long as I could.
Then one day I felt you touch,
my hand and I saw you mouth “I love you” and then I understood.

(Chorus 2)
Now we are both gone,
and they are still here.
How will they go on?
I love what I can hear.

(Verse 5)
Without knowing you I would have never,
made it through when they said I had it too.
I knew you were with me forever.
Some know what we had to go through.

(Chorus 2)
Now we are both gone,
and they are still here.
How will they go on?
I love what I can hear.
