Set Out To Do

By , Falmouth, ME
VERSE 1:
Going through the hall its busy
so many girls are oh so pretty
but we are all one of kind
crowded rooms, gotta be on time
no time to really be ourselves

CHORUS:
Cause I’m fourteen
I haven't got my world or future figured out
hopes and dreams, first love and then that single kiss
I've just started whats gonna be going on for four years
I cant seem to find a place yet in this world
but i know that
I can do
whatever my hearts set out to do

VERSE 2:
After school, I see my friends
with their boys and girlfriends
I’m still single, well, yeah
they come and go
that one special guy, that fairy tale, the one that picks you off your feet and tells you they love you, I’ll love you
(CHORUS)

VERSE 3/BRIDGE:
whatever my hearts set out to do
ohh it takes time to find out what I’m truly meant to be
it takes time to see the real me I wanna grow up one day and be someone children look up to I wanna change the world
I want to change the impossible to possible but when I wake up fear is looking in my eye and I get up but I still move on with my life
(CHORUS)

VERSE 4/ ENDING
cause i’m fourteen
i need to find whats my hearts set out to do.
