Double helix does constrict me

Emotion as my twin does restrict me

Fearing not whom shall evict me

Yet fearing the image left to depict me

Where void and devoid is so unreal

How can two butterflies embrace on no appeal

And stitches in my skin you wound no way to heal

Tell me you seek fire yet freezing cold is all I feel

Sand soaked in blood, do you have faith in me now?

Twas a pot of gold left alone to rust in the acid rain

Omit the mystery so you plea on asking how?

Past the gate I feel that time has intervened

So I pack my bags and go, leaving questions in stains

Yesterday was the only day, the future meant a thing

Over the overboard identity just to hear the ocean echo ring

Under the underestimated unknown, I hope it chokes and stings

Remember the rally cry I shout before I fall, sever all the strings

Listen to the one that dares to defy

O' cold misanthropic touch consume me

Vanity has spoken in effacing cat call chime

Everything you hold onto, may it separate you from the blind
