The resistance/Man in black

Watch the man in black,

Take a child from her home.

Set her on a path,

To a place unknown.

The time has come,

We must take a stand.

We will stand united,

Hand in hand.

Load up your weapons,

pack up your gear.

Leave behind your regrets,

Crush your fears.

Strategy is key,

In a good fight for all.

Brute force will not work,

In this little brawl.

It's almost time,

We strike at night.

For the enemy,

We make this a intimidating site.

This is predator,

Versus prey.

For the enemy,

Their final day.

I feel the adrenaline,

I'm ready to fight.

Pull up my weapon,

stare down this lethal site.

I see the man in black,

Firing his rifle at us all.

Im going to make him pay,

Make him and his friends fall.

Guns loaded, triggers pulled,

As the bodies pile up.

Just a little girl,

is what got us in this slump

The man in black is waiting,

For his time to come.

He's the last one left,

and then we'll have won.

Out of ammo, and desperate,

As he's approached by enemies.

He begins to gamble for his life,

By setting the girl free.

As the morning sun rises,

And the ashes clear.

I feel a sense of regret,

And yet again, fear.

Walking back to clean up,

The mess we've all made.

The guilt kicks us in the gut,

As we look at the people we slaid.

I see my friends around me,

Most of them dead.

I fall to the ground,

And bow my head.

Was their lives worth it?

Was she worth the war?

I guess the little girl,

Wont cry anymore.
