I'll be okay, I hope.

It was unexpected but I knew this day would come.
I didn't want the day to come but it wasn't in my control.
I honestly wasn't ready but you were ready.

Last goodbyes, tissues used by the box.
You will be missed forever.
Sweet memories, treasured deeply.
I will miss you forever, and I'll always love you.

You loved every one in the family.
You were the glue that kept everyone together.
Always smiling no matter what events the day brought to you.

Last goodbyes, tissues used by the box.
You will be missed forever.
Sweet memories, treasured deeply.
I will miss you forever, and I'll always love you.

You hold a special place in my heart.
You will never be forgotten about.
You will always be loved forever.

Last goodbyes, tissues used by the box.
You will be missed forever.
Sweet memories, treasured deeply.
I will miss you forever, and I'll always love you.

As many of you know what the title stands for, rest in peace, this song I wrote after I lost my Great Grandma this past March. I was the fourth generation of line of girls. It started with my Great Grammy, then to my Nana, then my Mother, last myself.
I wrote this after the funeral at the lunch following the cemetery. I typed it on my Itouch in about 15 minutes. This song isn't just in memory of my Great Grandma, it's in memory of every loved one that has passed away for everyone.
