Favorite Quote:
"True terror is when you wake up and realize that your high school class is running the country."

Feathers falling-
Silence.
It’s just me.
Black Beauty
Black Sky
Spread your wings
Let us fly.

Star-Spangled
Blackness.
Just me and you.
Bright Stars
Bright Eyes
No more pain
No more lies.

Glitter-strewn
Peace.
Altogether now.
White tower
White skies
Feel the rain
Feel the light.

Midnight-tinted
Tranquility.
It’s just me.
Glowing heart
Glowing mind
Spread your wings
Watch us fly.
Spread your wings
Watch us fly.

I wrote this when I had to write a poem about peace for Creative Writing class. The dove was the first thing that came to mind.
