She can't hear me cry
The way she held me long ago
Is today no more
I lost a sister today
The only I ever felt I had
She whispered softly in the phone
She's not coming back

In my whirlwind of emotions
My hair a mess my eyes all red
I can't find where she has gone
I lost a sister today
Her voice still crying out at night
Her thoughts are barred from me
Her heart locked away
I lost my twin today
