Oh, Leaves, they come and go
Just until it starts to snow
It’s not long before they begin to fall apart
Like the time it happened to my heart
I just wanted you to know
That we’re gonna need some time
Some time to be apart!

Chorus
Leaves, leaves all in se/ve/ral co/lors
The way leaves re/late to me is one of life’s casual wonders
I can build a house of leaves but it still won’t erase my relation towards this figure of nature
I believe I will find love…love that I preserve
And love that I’m sure that I deserve

Once a year do leaves appear
Many times has my heart gone and disappeared
Something I’m not comfortable admitting
There’s one thing similar
To leaves and my heart
Is they keep fallin’ from trees
And slowly tearin’ apart

It’s a wonder alright, leaves, leaves, leaves
(nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah)
