I need you to hear me out.
I like you, without a doubt.
Your jokes mean nothing.
When you tease, I see within you.

I know you're just messing with me.
That you don't know what else to do.
But if only you knew.
If only you could see.

That I've built a wall
between myself and anything that wishes to enter.
A wall that protects me.
From my outside to the center.
I wish nothing more.
Than to invite you inside.
But my heart is frozen the way it is.
I don't want you to endure my cries.
There will be a time.
When my heart will reopen.
But until that time.
We have to keep hoping.

The days are getting longer.
Each night filled with dreams of you.
Your face is making me stronger.
My emotions for you grew.

We spend more time together.
It forces me to think of us lasting forever.

We have to keep

Hope alive, dim the cries.
Think about each other in each other's eyes.
Let out the emotions.
Flood the room with truth.

Our love is full of innocence.
Of freedom, of youth.
My heart is reuniting.
With a feeling of honesty, of truth.

Opening its doors.
To a new kind of love, you see.
I'm glad that you know,
So happy you can see.

That I tore down my wall.
Between myself and anything that wished to enter.
The wall that protected me.
From my outside to the center.
Now that my love has grown for you.
I was happy to invite you inside.
My heart has melted from your warmth.
It's like I was being reborn.
There will be a time.
When we will fight.
But until that time.
We have to keep hoping that I'm yours.
And that you're mine.
