Living beneath the summer sun,
He used to be so much, so much fun.
But now beneath the silvery moon,
We’ve left him sleeping, all too soon.

Edgar dear, Edgar dear,
What happened to your lively cheer?
You used to dance and sing and roam,
But now you’re just a pile o’ bones.

An accident, that’s what it was,
Looking back, it’s all a fuzz.
A dance, trip, fall, CRACK!
Uncle Ed ain’t comin’ back.

Edgar dear, Edgar dear,
What happened to your lively cheer?
You used to dance and sing and roam,
But now you’re just a pile o’ bones.

Oh, Uncle Ed, why’d you have to hit your head?
Cause now that it’s all said and done,
A skeleton’s just not that fun.

Oh, Edgar dear, Edgar dear,
What happened to your lively cheer?
You used to dance and sing and roam,
But now you’re just a pile o’ bones.
An old and musty,
Rusty and dusty,
Pile o’ crusty bones.
