"As long as I have strength left, friends by my side, and the will to succeed, it's not over yet." -myself

As the ashes rain down
I pray for what I've got
Your tears soak the battle scared ground
As the remains of life begin to rot
You hold my shaking body
After the battle's prolonged length
Slowly. Surely you lend me your strength

CHORUS

Forget all the bloodshed
This was far more than we expected
The fire illuminates the night
In the wasteland god perfected
We're finally out of this fight
You gave me light
Gave me insight
I found the love and strength in your beautiful eyes
You saved my life and prevented my demise

I promised I wouldn't go
But the world needed me
As time began to slow
In a world where evil persists
It never ends
But I promised to return
To you, all my friends
I said to do with out me
Or experience a total global catastrophe

CHORUS

Forget all the bloodshed
This was far more than we expected
The fire illuminates the night
In the wasteland god perfected
We're finally out of this fight
You gave me light
Gave me insight
I found the love and insight in your beautiful eyes
You saved my life and prevented my demise

Life had to go on.
I'd never forgive myself
If you were gone
You said the same
As your lips slowly whispered my name
You decided to confide
That death and destruction
couldn't keep you away from my side

Chorus
We weathered the bloodshed
As we expected, evil at its max, but we never fled
The fire illuminates the night
But your eyes are still full of life
On the wasteland that god perfected
Together, our goal is redirected
You and I win this fight
We share the Light
As we follow our heart's insight
We find love in each others eyes
Siding with the purest form of love
And escape the dark demise

my friend is absolutly radiant and positive. She inspired me to write my own song.
