Anna went walkin’ down the street
She found a friend she liked to meet
He had a yo-yo he bought in town

And it went up and down
Up and down
Up and down
Up and down

He swung the yo-yo in the air
It almost got caught in her hair
It bounced away on the ground

Goin’ up and down
Up and down
Up and down
Round and round

It did the cat’s cradle walked the dog
It spun it whirled it twirled
They raced and chased it
All around the world

Goin’ up and down
Up and down
Up and down
Round and round

They heard whiz whir and sing
A little boy grabbed it by the string
They saw a smile come from his frown

When it went up and down
Up and down
Up and down
Round and round

Up and down
Up and down
Up and down
Round and round

My friends and I wrote this on a day when we were feeling exceptionally random. Then they forced me to post it. Sing it to your little brother or sister who likes yo-yos. :D
