I Wish There Was a Place

I wish there was a place where I didn't have to feel pain.
I wish there was a place where there was sun and not rain.
I wish there was a place where I didn't have to feel strange,
And I didn't have to make a wish on a shooting star or an airplane.
I wish there was a place where I could just fit in.
I wish there was a place where there was good and not sin.
I wish there was a place where I could start over again,
With family and friends.
And I wish there was a place where they didn't treat me like I was ten,
And I didn't have to learn about the latest trends.
I wish there was a place where there was no fashion.
And everybody that I met shared a great deal of passion.
And in all my relationships I could feel that magic.
I wish there was a place where I could forget every bad thing that happened.
And I didn't have to remember every thing that was tragic,
While honking my horn while driving through this traffic.
I wish there was a place where these cars wasn't crashing.
I wish there was a place where we could all be safe,
And I wasn't getting dissed and dismissed in my face,
By people that would run to hug in kiss my face.
I wish there was a place where people was actually happy to see me.
I wish there was a place where people want to greet me.
And there was no liars and people didn't try to deceive me.
I wish there was a place where people wasn't two faced.
And it didn't matter if you was straight
Or didn't matter if you was gay.
I wish there was a place where people could be themselves.
And they wasn't worrying about what was going on with everybody else.
I wish there was a place where everybody had wealth.
And I didn't have to see anybody die because we all had health.
And I wish there was a place where it didn't seem so dark.
And I didn't have to lose people that was close to my heart.
