As I take my last breath before I surrender to enternal silence
The image of your face begins to haunt me once again
I can feel the fire and the invisbile bruises upon veins
Why can't you cut the cord that's keeping me attached to this pain
All thats left of me will be the ashes from your flame

Look past my wounded soul to the burning hole
Where my heart should be
Can you believe the woman who created me
Is the cause of pain and the cause of my suicide
You looked into my eyes and said this was the last time
You were ever going to hurt me but you lied
I don't see you in my eyes you're just a weak women who has to hide

Through the tears on my face I am breaking away
My wounded soul is hard as stone
In a world between heaven and hell is where I will be
Forever gone and forever lost without you
I will spread my wings and finally be free
From my mommy

I hear your cries while you dream but that doesn't mean you can take it out on me
You're just a girl whos afraid of this world so the one person you love you have to hurt
I am breaking limb by limb as I hear you sing to God a hymn
And as I break I begin to run
Cause I know the strings you're keeping me on are about to be gone and my life will be done

Through the tears on my face I am breaking away
My wounded soul is hard as stone
In a world between heaven and hell is where I will be
Forever gone and forever lost without you
I will spread my wings and finally be free
From my mommy

Where ever I go, where ever I turn, I know I must return
Cause I can feel your bleeding heart shivering down my bones
I know you don't love me but you're my flesh and blood
And compassion is flooding me

Through the tears on my face I am breaking away
My wounded soul is hard as stone
In a world between heaven and hell is where I will be
Forever gone and forever lost without you
I will spread my wings and finally be free
From my mommy

Look past my wounded soul
To my mothers burning hole
