Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it
Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it

The girls crush on the boys
The boys crush on the girls
There is no compromise
In this intolerant world
Those who find this tradition
Undeniably heartbreaking
We hide in plain sight
To avoid the discriminating

Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it
Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it

The brave ones fight our cause
The rest stay behind
Camouflaged with the rest
We need to survive
Afraid to be ourselves
The priest would always tell
Love the same sex and you’ll go to hell

Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it
Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it

Teens grow up and learn
More about who they are
Wake up to realize society
Is a jail with iron bars
Some sick of waiting
For the world to be accepting
Flowers placed on graves in penance
Their families weeping

Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it
Can’t think about it
Can’t talk about it
Shhhh…
